All of the pianos for sale in our showroom whether new, pre-owned or restored go through a thorough inspection to ensure quality and sound. We warranty all of the pianos that we sell, and we would have it no other way.
This does not mean that our prices are higher than other piano sales companies, in fact its the opposite, When it comes to new pianos, we have been asked not to place the sales prices of our pianos on the Internet.
Why are the prices so low? The answer to that is simple. Due to the level of quality our customers have come to expect, our restoration and finishing facilities are in high demand, and since we don't have a "paid on commission" salesman, we don't need to sell our pianos at the absurdly high rates of our competitors. We choose to instead sell at a price that is slightly over cost.
Outside of a factory Ackerman's is one of the only shops capable of spraying Lacquer finishes to a "Piano finish" quality. What this means to you is that the finish is strong, water resistant, clear, and smooth. Maintaining the beautifull luster which is generally related to only the highest quality instruments. We know that your piano holds a special place, and we will treat your instrument like we do any Steinway, or Yamaha. Which is to say that your heirloom instrument will be treated with the highest quality craftsmanship and attention to detail that we have become known for.
